The ninth Sichuan TV Festival was held from October 28 to October 30, 2007 in Chengdu International Convention and Exhibition Center. 1,222 Chinese and foreign film and TV organizations from 19 countries and regions participated in the festival's program trading. According to rough statistics, during the 3-day trade, the intentional signing of various overseas TV programs reached 1,323 (episodes); the export of various TV programs to overseas reached 1,850 (episodes), with a turnover of more than USD 3 million, which is 2.8 times of the previous year; the trade among domestic film and TV organizations was also very active, with 9,521 (episodes) of various TV programs sold and a turnover of RMB 626 million yuan, an increase of more than 40% compared with the eighth session.
