The 2013 (12th) Sichuan TV Festival International Documentary Awards received a total of 1064 entries from 55 countries and regions. Among them, 479 were submitted from overseas and 585 from China. There were 356 entries in the Anthropology category, 454 in the Society category, and 254 in the Nature and Environment category. The 13 winning programs in the Anthropology category came from China, Korea, Australia, Belgium, Japan, Germany and Switzerland. In the Society category, 13 award winners were from China, Germany, Denmark, Japan, Belgium and Norway. 13 winners in the category of Nature and Environment came from China, Iran, France, Japan, UK and Germany.
